- The customers will now have a “Price Quotation” button on the front end through which they can fill out the form and submit their quote.
- Once submitted, the admin will receive an email with the details of the quote.
- Admin can visit the backend. Navigate to Website -> eCommerce -> Price Quotation.
- Admin can see the details filled by the customer. Admin needs to enter his offer price and quotation expiry date.
- Once the admin approves the quotation after filling in the details, the customer will receive an email.
- Upon going into the My Account section, the customer can open My Quotations. He can see that his quote has been accepted and can see the price at which the admin has accepted the quote. The Add to Cart button becomes available.
- Upon pressing add to cart, the product will the specified quantity will get added to the cart with the specified quantity and the quantity that the admin quoted.
- If a customer tries to increase/decrease quantity, the app won't allow that.
- If a customer tries to redeem the quotation after the expiry date, the app won't allow that.
- The customer will be notified of this action via email.
- Admin can also apply this feature to specific selected products, and can apply this feature to all the products in the shop via a bulk action. To apply via bulk, navigate to Odoo Settings.
