Create and manage Power BI workspaces from Odoo to organize datasets and reports. Click New, enter a workspace name, and click Create Workspace in Power BI. After creation, the Workspace ID is generated, confirming the Power BI connection. Navigate to Datasets and click New to create a dataset that will store Odoo data for Power BI reports and dashboards. Enter a dataset name, select the workspace, save, and click Table to create a new table. Open the dataset, click Tables, and select Odoo models and fields for synchronization. Click New, enter the table name, choose the Odoo model, and select fields or enable Include All Fields. In Filters, apply a domain filter and enable incremental sync to update only new or modified records. Open the created dataset and click Create Dataset in Power BI to generate the dataset in Power BI. After creating the dataset, it becomes active and the created tables are visible in the Tables field. After activating the dataset, open the table and click Sync to Power BI, or enable Cron for scheduled synchronization. Click Sync to Power BI to display a confirmation message after successful data synchronization. Activate Cron, set execution date, priority, and days to schedule automatic data synchronization. Open Power BI Online, go to Workspaces, and click the workspace to view datasets. In the workspace, open the dataset Actions menu and click Create Report to start building reports. In Power BI, use the Fields panel to select data and create charts or tables for analysis. Use Power BI visualizations to analyze synchronized Odoo data as charts, graphs, and tables. Save the report in Power BI so it can be viewed in the Odoo Reports and Dashboards. Save the report, click Pin, create a new dashboard, and add the visualization. Now Click Import Reports to import the reports created in Power BI. Select the workspace created in Power BI, then click Import Reports to import the available reports into Odoo. After clicking Import Reports, a confirmation message appears. Click Close to continue. After importing, the created reports will appear in the list. Open the imported report to view and analyze Power BI visualizations directly in Odoo. Click Import Dashboards to import the dashboards created in Power BI. Select the workspace, click Import Dashboards, and confirm successful import. After importing, the dashboards will appear in the dashboard list. Open the imported dashboard to view and analyze Power BI visualizations directly in Odoo. Create a dataset, select a workspace, configure tables, and click Generate URL for the Power BI API endpoint. Click Generate URL to get the API link and copy it for Power BI Desktop. Open Power BI Desktop, click Get Data, and select More to choose the data source. After clicking More, search for Web, select it, and click Connect to proceed with the connection. Paste the generated API URL in the URL field and click OK to connect and load the Odoo data into Power BI Desktop. After connecting, Odoo data appears in Power Query Editor for review before loading into Power BI. The dashboard shows Power BI integration overview in Odoo with counts of workspaces, datasets, tables, reports, and dashboards.
