We are not huge, but we are not a demo shop either. Odoo Affiliate Program did not fall over on a campaign weekend. That is when I decided it was staying.

Setup of Odoo Affiliate Program was straightforward. One setting was not obvious, I mailed support and they walked me through it without a ticket ping-pong. Using it daily now on Odoo.

That was the test. If the store manager can use Affiliate Program without a Zoom call, it is good enough. They could. A couple of tooltips would help, but we are fine.

We have been on Affiliate Program long enough that I forget it is a third-party module. That is the compliment. When something does need a look, the logs and settings are where I expect them.

I read the guide first — it was enough to install Affiliate Program. Later we wanted a small behaviour change; support confirmed what was possible and what was not, which I prefer to a vague yes.

I checked overrides after installing Affiliate Program. It did not spray files everywhere. Easier to live with on Odoo, which we still update ourselves.

I look at last-update dates before I buy. Odoo Affiliate Program is clearly looked after. Combined with usable docs, that is why it beat a cheaper abandoned add-on.

The translation strings in Odoo Affiliate Program are slightly inconsistent and one filter could be faster. Functionally it does what we bought it for, and support did not disappear after payment.
