Worth it for the time it saved

ShipEngine Shipping Connector replaced a messy mix of overrides we had been maintaining ourselves. Less to break on updates, and the back office screens are clear enough that our ops person did not need me on calls.

We run more than one Odoo catalog. ShipEngine Shipping Connector is going on the second shop as well. Config is copyable enough that it will not be a project.

I checked overrides after installing ShipEngine Shipping Connector. It did not spray files everywhere. Easier to live with on Odoo, which we still update ourselves.

I compared the feature list on Odoo ShipEngine Shipping Connector with what landed in our back office. It is the same product. No surprise locked screens. Ratings would be 5 if the email templates were a bit nicer.

That is rare. After two weeks on Odoo ShipEngine Shipping Connector the warehouse / support people did not want to go back. I am not uninstalling a tool they actually like.

ShipEngine Shipping Connector is focused. I would rather that than an “all in one” that is average at twelve jobs. We already have a Odoo stack; this fills a gap.
