I checked overrides after installing Website Auction Pro. It did not spray files everywhere. Easier to live with on Odoo, which we still update ourselves.

Website Auction Pro is focused. I would rather that than an “all in one” that is average at twelve jobs. We already have a Odoo stack; this fills a gap.

I look at last-update dates before I buy. Odoo Website Auction Pro is clearly looked after. Combined with usable docs, that is why it beat a cheaper abandoned add-on.

Odoo Website Auction Pro is not trying to be a whole new admin. It adds the piece we were missing and stays out of the way. That is harder to find than it sounds.

That was the test. If the store manager can use Website Auction Pro without a Zoom call, it is good enough. They could. A couple of tooltips would help, but we are fine.

The translation strings in Odoo Website Auction Pro are slightly inconsistent and one filter could be faster. Functionally it does what we bought it for, and support did not disappear after payment.
