Purchase, download, install, first successful test — same day for Odoo Age Verification. Questions after that were answered in normal working hours. Fine by me.

We are not a pure B2C shop. Odoo Age Verification did not assume every visitor is a guest with a coupon. That made the difference versus the last module we tried.

Age Verification took a process that lived in Google Sheets and put it next to the orders. Mistakes dropped because people stopped retyping. That is the whole story.

We have been on Age Verification long enough that I forget it is a third-party module. That is the compliment. When something does need a look, the logs and settings are where I expect them.

I tested Age Verification on a staging copy first, then on production with real products. No surprises. A few labels I would word differently, but the behaviour is correct and that is what we paid for.

I read the guide first — it was enough to install Age Verification. Later we wanted a small behaviour change; support confirmed what was possible and what was not, which I prefer to a vague yes.

I look at last-update dates before I buy. Odoo Age Verification is clearly looked after. Combined with usable docs, that is why it beat a cheaper abandoned add-on.

Odoo Age Verification is not trying to be a whole new admin. It adds the piece we were missing and stays out of the way. That is harder to find than it sounds.

I checked overrides after installing Age Verification. It did not spray files everywhere. Easier to live with on Odoo, which we still update ourselves.

That is rare. After two weeks on Odoo Age Verification the warehouse / support people did not want to go back. I am not uninstalling a tool they actually like.

Setup of Odoo Age Verification was straightforward. One setting was not obvious, I mailed support and they walked me through it without a ticket ping-pong. Using it daily now on Odoo.
