I look at last-update dates before I buy. Odoo POS Receipt Design is clearly looked after. Combined with usable docs, that is why it beat a cheaper abandoned add-on.

The translation strings in Odoo POS Receipt Design are slightly inconsistent and one filter could be faster. Functionally it does what we bought it for, and support did not disappear after payment.

I checked overrides after installing POS Receipt Design. It did not spray files everywhere. Easier to live with on Odoo, which we still update ourselves.
