test is not trying to be a whole new admin. It adds the piece we were missing and stays out of the way. That is harder to find than it sounds.

That is rare. After two weeks on test the warehouse / support people did not want to go back. I am not uninstalling a tool they actually like.

I tested test on a staging copy first, then on production with real products. No surprises. A few labels I would word differently, but the behaviour is correct and that is what we paid for.

That is always my fear with the storefront modules. test sat beside our payment and shipping setup and did not fight them. We placed test orders the same evening and they looked right.

We run promotions most weekends. test handled the extra traffic and the staff still found the screens quickly. Documentation covered the bits we needed; I did not have to reverse-engineer it.

I read the guide first — it was enough to install test. Later we wanted a small behaviour change; support confirmed what was possible and what was not, which I prefer to a vague yes.
