I read the guide first — it was enough to install POS Order Estimates. Later we wanted a small behaviour change; support confirmed what was possible and what was not, which I prefer to a vague yes.

I compared the feature list on Odoo POS Order Estimates with what landed in our back office. It is the same product. No surprise locked screens. Ratings would be 5 if the email templates were a bit nicer.

POS Order Estimates replaced a messy mix of overrides we had been maintaining ourselves. Less to break on updates, and the back office screens are clear enough that our ops person did not need me on calls.

We had a patchwork of free tools doing half of this. POS Order Estimates is one place, one config, and the result is easier to explain to the rest of the team. Price was fair for that.

That is always my fear with Odoo modules. POS Order Estimates sat beside our payment and shipping setup and did not fight them. We placed test orders the same evening and they looked right.

We run promotions most weekends. Odoo POS Order Estimates handled the extra traffic and the staff still found the screens quickly. Documentation covered the bits we needed; I did not have to reverse-engineer it.

Setup of Odoo POS Order Estimates was straightforward. One setting was not obvious, I mailed support and they walked me through it without a ticket ping-pong. Using it daily now on Odoo.

This was not a nice-to-have. Odoo POS Order Estimates solved a process we were doing in spreadsheets. Staff still mention it when they do not have to copy-paste between tools.

That was the test. If the store manager can use POS Order Estimates without a Zoom call, it is good enough. They could. A couple of tooltips would help, but we are fine.

The translation strings in Odoo POS Order Estimates are slightly inconsistent and one filter could be faster. Functionally it does what we bought it for, and support did not disappear after payment.
