I checked overrides after installing Shipping Quotation. It did not spray files everywhere. Easier to live with on Odoo, which we still update ourselves.

Purchase, download, install, first successful test — same day for Odoo Shipping Quotation. Questions after that were answered in normal working hours. Fine by me.

I look at last-update dates before I buy. Odoo Shipping Quotation is clearly looked after. Combined with usable docs, that is why it beat a cheaper abandoned add-on.

Shipping Quotation replaced a messy mix of overrides we had been maintaining ourselves. Less to break on updates, and the back office screens are clear enough that our ops person did not need me on calls.
