I read the guide first — it was enough to install Authorize.net Payment Method. Later we wanted a small behaviour change; support confirmed what was possible and what was not, which I prefer to a vague yes.

A lot of modules get installed and then ignored. Magento Authorize.net Payment Method is in the daily path. That is the only review that counts in our shop.

The translation strings in Magento Authorize.net Payment Method are slightly inconsistent and one filter could be faster. Functionally it does what we bought it for, and support did not disappear after payment.
