We are not huge, but we are not a demo shop either. Magento VIES VAT Validator | VAT Exemption did not fall over on a campaign weekend. That is when I decided it was staying.

The translation strings in Magento VIES VAT Validator | VAT Exemption are slightly inconsistent and one filter could be faster. Functionally it does what we bought it for, and support did not disappear after payment.
