Each hack broke on its own schedule. Rule Based Product Extra Tabs is one module, one vendor, one place to look when something is off. Worth it for that alone.

Magento Rule Based Product Extra Tabs is not trying to be a whole new admin. It adds the piece we were missing and stays out of the way. That is harder to find than it sounds.

This was not a nice-to-have. Magento Rule Based Product Extra Tabs solved a process we were doing in spreadsheets. Staff still mention it when they do not have to copy-paste between tools.

I checked overrides after installing Rule Based Product Extra Tabs. It did not spray files everywhere. Easier to live with on Magento, which we still update ourselves.
