We sell a messy mix of simple and combination products. AJAX shopping cart did not assume everything is a single SKU. That is why it stayed installed.

That is always my fear with Magento modules. AJAX shopping cart sat beside our payment and shipping setup and did not fight them. We placed test orders the same evening and they looked right.
