I usually budget a week to make a new module usable. Odoo POS Shipping | Offer Shipping on POS | Home Delivery was useful after install and a coffee. Tweaked two options and left it.

That is rare. After two weeks on Odoo POS Shipping | Offer Shipping on POS | Home Delivery the warehouse / support people did not want to go back. I am not uninstalling a tool they actually like.

I read the guide first — it was enough to install POS Shipping. Later we wanted a small behaviour change; support confirmed what was possible and what was not, which I prefer to a vague yes.

Odoo POS Shipping | Offer Shipping on POS | Home Delivery is not trying to be a whole new admin. It adds the piece we were missing and stays out of the way. That is harder to find than it sounds.

The translation strings in Odoo POS Shipping | Offer Shipping on POS | Home Delivery are slightly inconsistent and one filter could be faster. Functionally it does what we bought it for, and support did not disappear after payment.
