Odoo User Approval by Admin Reviews

Does one thing well

User Approval by Admin is focused. I would rather that than an “all in one” that is average at twelve jobs. We already have a Odoo stack; this fills a gap.

Good experience from buy to go-live

Purchase, download, install, first successful test — same day for Odoo User Approval by Admin. Questions after that were answered in normal working hours. Fine by me.

We are not huge, but we are not a demo shop either. Odoo User Approval by Admin did not fall over on a campaign weekend. That is when I decided it was staying.

No drama on update

Updated User Approval by Admin alongside a Odoo patch last month. Cleared cache, checked the two flows we care about, done. That should be normal and often is not.

Helped a real operational pain

This was not a nice-to-have. Odoo User Approval by Admin solved a process we were doing in spreadsheets. Staff still mention it when they do not have to copy-paste between tools.

Did what we actually needed

We bought User Approval by Admin after trying a couple of other Odoo add-ons that looked similar on paper. This one matched our workflow instead of forcing a new one. Install was clean and we were live the same afternoon.

I asked a fairly specific question about User Approval by Admin on a multi-store setup. The reply was from someone who had seen that case before. Module itself has been stable for us since.

Our merchant users did not need training

That was the test. If the store manager can use User Approval by Admin without a Zoom call, it is good enough. They could. A couple of tooltips would help, but we are fine.

I would have paid more for the hours saved

We recovered the cost of User Approval by Admin in the first month just in admin time. Not a slogan — I looked at the old process. It was worse than I remembered.

Still using it months later

A lot of modules get installed and then ignored. Odoo User Approval by Admin is in the daily path. That is the only review that counts in our shop.

The demo was close to production

I spent time on the live demo before buying Odoo User Approval by Admin. What we installed was the same product, not a trimmed showcase. That matters.

Good documentation, better replies

I read the guide first — it was enough to install User Approval by Admin. Later we wanted a small behaviour change; support confirmed what was possible and what was not, which I prefer to a vague yes.

Solid module, support replied the same day

Setup of Odoo User Approval by Admin was straightforward. One setting was not obvious, I mailed support and they walked me through it without a ticket ping-pong. Using it daily now on Odoo.

Happy we switched

Came from another vendor whose Odoo module had gone quiet. User Approval by Admin is maintained, the screens make sense, and we have not had a regression after two Odoo minor updates.

Worth it for the time it saved

User Approval by Admin replaced a messy mix of overrides we had been maintaining ourselves. Less to break on updates, and the back office screens are clear enough that our ops person did not need me on calls.

Quietly reliable

We have been on User Approval by Admin long enough that I forget it is a third-party module. That is the compliment. When something does need a look, the logs and settings are where I expect them.

First hour was settings. After that, Odoo User Approval by Admin just ran. That is what I want from a Odoo module — not another dashboard I have to babysit.

Front-office bits of Odoo User Approval by Admin picked up our Odoo theme without a CSS fight. I had budgeted an hour for layout fixes and did not need it.

I look at last-update dates before I buy. Odoo User Approval by Admin is clearly looked after. Combined with usable docs, that is why it beat a cheaper abandoned add-on.

Works on a live catalog, not just demo data

I tested User Approval by Admin on a staging copy first, then on production with real products. No surprises. A few labels I would word differently, but the behaviour is correct and that is what we paid for.
