I asked a fairly specific question about Pre Order on a multi-store setup. The reply was from someone who had seen that case before. Module itself has been stable for us since.

Pre Order replaced a messy mix of overrides we had been maintaining ourselves. Less to break on updates, and the back office screens are clear enough that our ops person did not need me on calls.

First hour was settings. After that, Magento Pre Order | Backorder | Advance Order just ran. That is what I want from a Magento module — not another dashboard I have to babysit.
