How Does the Module Work?

The admin activates the extension, defines the desired order number format, specifies the starting counter number, and sets the increment for each subsequent order. The admin can also establish the counter padding, determine the date for counter resets, and save the configuration. 

Similar settings can be applied to custom invoices, shipments, and credit memo numbers. When customers place an order, the personalized order number is assigned and displayed on the order success page. In the backend order view, the administrator can view the custom order, invoice, shipment, and credit memo numbers.

Features

• Custom Order Number for Orders: Enable or disable the option to use custom order numbers.
• Order Number Format: Define the order number format using the provided sample formats and variables. This will be the format used to assign order IDs in your Prestashop store.
• Start Counter From: Specify the initial value for the order counter. For example, setting it to 1 will make order numbers begin at 1.
• Increment Counter By: Determine the value to add to the counter for each subsequent order ID. Setting this to 1 will increment the order number by one from the previous value.
• Counter Padding: Specify the number of padding zeros for the order ID. For instance, if set to 5, the order number will be displayed with five leading zeros.
• Reset Counter on Date Change: Choose a specific interval to reset the counter and start fresh.
• Reset Counter: Set to YES to immediately reset the counter after the next increment ID is generated.
• Multi-Store Support: The module is compatible with multi-store setups.
